Vandalism on wikis with active local admins

Hello LordTenebrous2,

on wikis with active local admins please always contact them first. If they are not around and the vandalism is still going on, you can still contact the soap team. You can also read in our Policies about that.

Sorry about that, I'll keep it in mind while reporting in the future. Also, what would you define as "active" admins since I've noticed that sometimes local admins haven't edited for a few weeks, but then seem to suddenly go online. Tenebrous (Talk) 22:59, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
If they edited in the last week, they could probably considered as active. If the user is mass-vandalizing and the admins are not around, I'd say it's okay to report the vandal to us to stop him as soon as possible.--35?cb=20130911015810Rain  (talk) 17:03, 12 January 2021 (UTC)
Alright, got it, thanks for informing me! Tenebrous (Talk) 02:39, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

Reverting vandalism

Please do not edit-war with vandals. This is not helpful. If something like this happens, don't bother with reverting the page. We can do that once everyone is blocked. Also, please be more careful with reverting vandalism. You often revert pages back to bad revisions and that's also not really helpful.--35?cb=20130911015810Rain  (talk) 09:12, 17 January 2021 (UTC)

Sorry, I got a bit carried away there and I'll stop edit-warring with other users in the future. Also, sometimes when I'm relatively busy and I see someone vandalising via discord I'll just revert the edit then go without checking the other revisions of the page carefully. Apologies for that, and I'll be more careful from now on. Tenebrous (Talk) 10:57, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
